Email Me

My name is Andrea Sharb and my mission is to help you overcome your sense of overwhelm.

My background is that of a CPA and, before children, I was an Audit Manager for the international accounting firm, KPMG.  At KPMG I was trained as a national instructor and I taught continuing education courses to other accountants.  Though I was a CPA, I found that what I enjoyed most about my position was organizing and managing my engagements and teaching others.

I was on the fast track until I had twins in 1994 and ended up on the mommy track instead.  In 2006 I began to explore a career that I had only recently learned about and that truly intrigued me: Professional Organizer.  I had spent the previous 12 years doing a significant amount of volunteer work for a number of different organizations.  Working in the fast paced world of public accounting, raising twins and volunteering allowed me to hone my organizing and time management skills and I felt I was ready to help others hone those skills as well.

I filled a yard bag (what a help!) with shreddings last night and am about an hour away from Ahhhh Perfection. ~ L. Wiley

I am uniquely equipped to understand many of the organizing challenges that my clients face, because I have overcome many organizing challenges over the years, such as: cross country moves, creating comfortable living space in an extremely small condo, surviving major home renovations, including remodeling two kitchens, dealing with kids and their ever-increasing number of activities, running a household and a business, dealing with ADHD in our household and my own ongoing personal organizing challenge: keeping my desk under control.

I will help you clear out the clutter in your life and teach you techniques to remain organized.   It is my goal to empower you to simplify and organize on your own so that you may maintain a more streamlined lifestyle.

I am credentialed as a Certified Professional Organizer in Chronic Disorganization® (CPO-CD)®, a Certified Organizer Coach® (COC®), and a Certified Professional Organizer® (CPO®). I earned my CPO-CD credential from the Institute for Challenging Disorganization upon completion of 18 months of intensive training with a mentor coach and passing of a peer reviewed oral exam. I received my accreditation as a COC through the Institute for Applied Coaching in 2009.  As a COC, I have the expertise of an experienced professional organizer coupled with the skill set of a certified life coach. A CPO is a professional organizer who has proven through testing, and an accumulation of client service and education hours, that she meets the minimum requirements set by the Board of Certification for Professional Organizers.  That I am credentialed in the fields of Professional Organizing and Organizer Coaching means you are assured of my commitment to these professions and will demonstrate to you the same levels of competence I was required to demonstrate during the credentialing process.  Click here to learn more about my coaching services.

Professional Organizers face many of the same challenges that our clients face.  Our homes and lives get out of control at times, too.  We just have the ability to bring things back to order more quickly and more easily because of systems that we have put in place and techniques we have perfected over the years.

I look forward to helping you overcome your overwhelm...
